The Macabre

There was a guy I new around town, his name was Johnny Macabre, now he had a little secrete. When the moon was bright, full, white, and high above the town’s grave yard he would go outside and dance with the bones of the dead. He would dance with their souls in a gallery of flashing pure light and he would dance with the flash of the dead as well. They danced in the cold breezy chill of the night air, in the darkness of the night with only the eyes of the gods in heaven to give what little comfort to this obscure scene they could give. Around town people would rumor about Johnny Macabre, under the shade of the trees his mates suggested Mr. Macabre was a rich European hair who left his family for a life in the Americas, his neighbors in the quite of their living rooms thought of Johnny as a single man who had an afire with some lover. Truth is Johnny Macabre had no job, no formal house, and lived with a friend at the end of town. One night in October Johnny’s Macabre secrete was discovered as children ran from the fright of their lives, all the towns folk could not believe the scene how could anything on earth dance with those whom are dead. After that night Johnny Macabre was never seen around town any more.
