Bones

Bones are everywhere
bones heaped upon bones
a mountain of bones
bones of men,women and
children

The poor and the wealthy
their skeletons climb
this mountain of bones
and as they climb
the fall apart

Fall apart by the height of this mountain
and on top of the mountain of bone
s

three men: dine on pork and goose
As they drink from golden cups
and sit on thrones of marble
they wear crowns of silver
and have green ties

They declare themselves
Kings of the mountain of bones
and add to their collection of bones
after every skeleton reaches the top
they crush him like candy;
and send the parts of ex-skeleton;
to the bottom of the mountain!

And they grow old and powerful
upon our bones and drink our blood
and eat our flesh.

Unloved

Not even the blood of a million saints
Will make something that’s right, wrong
A thousand stars could fall
And still the moon would shine
They can threaten us
And scare us to death
But in the end the river always flows down
And they would be filled with guilt
And shame
Like a smudge of dirt
On a white shirt
A thousand dollar bills may be wasted
A million minds dived
And loving ones
Will be unloved
Unloved for their love
Unloved for their ways
Unloved by the saints
Unloved by their house
Unloved like a bug
Unloved for love
And what would be the cause of content
And dis-content
If loved ones could be loved
And loved ones could utter their love
And vows of joy to their home and saints

Four Eyes

           Women have four eyes
but only two are allowed to be seen
by men

The other two must remain covered
at all times

Men will have you believe it’s for  a good reason
to preserve society from two big odd eyes
but never mind that

Men only have two eyes
and can see very little with them
Even worse they feel nothing at all

While women hide their third and fourth eye
as if they were a cursed ......
true they should be covered
for reasonable conventions
but what about at the beach
don’t eyes deserve to see

And if men can show off six abbs
why can’t women show off their
third and fourth eyes

It’s not a free world
if two eyes must be hidden
it only makes women
unequal to men
and hides nature!

My Eden

I was graced by his gaze today
I was baptized by the sins of shame
I love that man like cows love bulls
and doves love doves

Streams of salt water rushed
down my forehead
washing away all innocence
with them
and exposing only
faint ghosts
that wail I love you
in the air...........

and the wailing goes on
and is carried by the wind
to my God and my Devil
and he stops looking at me
disgraces me
and the winds of comfort
blow towards my face

this is my Eden
and my fall
no blood will rescue me
only his lips upon mine
this is my Eden and my fall
and this is my dream
a dream sent by Venus
and Eros

Only his lips can make
take away my dream
Eden is gone
and I've already fallen

Digital kisses

Digital kisses
that’s all I've got from you
along with a digital heart
and smiley face
our relationship is virtual
real and fake
no talk about money, friends, passions, or homes
just I love  you and emoticons
could there be more to this?
yes!
but it needs time and trust and most of all work.....
will it end
maybe
but for now all I have to say
ciao mio amore
buona notte

Money

Money, it’s green, it’s paper, and it’s mighty
Money can buy sex, food, toys, and money
Money can buy an election
it can also buy a family
and it can buy things that make you happy
Money can buy land
and destroy it as well
it can buy false friends
and true enemies
Money can buy corruption
greedy politicians
and lying spokesperson
it can silence the speaker of truth
and can slay a million dragons
Money can save someone else' s live

Money there are people who are born with it
and other who are not
some marry into Money
and others just work for it
under the sun, in rain, in a death-hole
Money it moves greedy around
and stops love and equality right in its track
Money buys lies, Money sales lies, Money can create lies
that bury necessary truths

If Money were hosting a party
it’s guest would include more Money
the Pope
the richest Presidents
a few Dictators
a few more Religious Leaders
actors, actress, singers, and their boss
Money would also invite politicians
from the left, right, and center
Money would offer as a party favor; guns, drugs, and sex
and Scandal would be the guest of honor

Yet even Money must bend before Death and Time
Time will end the party and Death will end the guest
Death and Time are both equal of each other
and the opposite of Money
Death and Time will host a party
and everyone is welcomed
poor and rich
virgins and hoes
atheists and agnostics
the Pope and his money
all the politicians of the world
the dictator and the queen
young and old
men and women

All run out of Time
and all run into Death
leaving Money to rot in hell

Mother's Day and Father's Day.

Mother’s day is here and gone
and mom got a washing machine
new pots and forks
dishes and spoons

She got roses that’ll dry
and cards she’ll throw away
she got hugs in the morning
and maybe the only hugs
she gets for a few months

She gets things that are pink
things to make housekeeping
easier
like vacuums and aprons

But don’t worry mothers'
Fathers' have it worse

They get lawn mowers
and tool-boxes
T-shirts and wallets
they also get cards
but no roses
they may get boxers
or undies
but they don’t get hugs
and always a day after
Father’s day

Both days
are like disposable love songs
just as great
and just as forgettable

To all the hard working mothers make it your day everyday
and.......................

To all those fathers..................just keep doing what you do.........

flirtationship

we’re not friends
and we’re not lovers
we talk
and chat up a fire
yet we’re both cold on each other
we’re somewhere in between;
the friend zone
forever alone
and that’s great
and confusing
It’s great, at least I’m somewhere
But confusing because ; I’m still without a lover
is there are word for it?
Maybe they call it a flirtationship
not flirtationships are for people who can’t find love
some just want to be friends
and others  want to pass the time
But I really want more then friendship
or to pass the time
I want this seed we’re tending
to grow down into the south
to water it with lust
and shade it with passion

Mirror

That mirror is mocking me
it shows a round figure
a fatso not; not a sexy macho
a fatso that’s what it shows
too many tacos and pizza
maybe!? Not enough activity
….possibly!?  Not sexy, yes!
that mirror shows no model
it shows my unwanted death
What the television damns
What doctors worry about
What lovers despite
What superheros are not
not even the bad guy is fat
it’s just a nightmare looking
looking, looking, looking,
and looking at the mirror
they were made to torture
the common folk
not help us …..
I must break this mirror
screw the blood on my hands
and the my seven year of bad luck
already broke the scale

Men have twenty one digits

Men have twenty one digits
I've counted them all
and let me tell you how to
find them

The first ten digits
can be found on the hands
five for each hand

The second ten digits
are of course on the feet
again five for each feet

The last digit is by itself
hanging from balls
in between hips

It does not help
with holding things
like the ones on the hands

It does not help with walking
like the one on the feet

It only hangs
from two oddballs
and does nothing

It has no reason to exist
other than to be a marker
to give men a reason to be
men

So don’t ever wonder
why most men have
an ego

they only have an extra digit

Moon Beams

she found her
and offered her
her cup to drink from
and filled it with
her love

He found him
and offered him his wine
distilled by his love
and brewed basement
and they both
drink out of love
on a bed

they found each other
they paint each other’s
sun
on gray days
they cover each other
from the cruel night
and count the stars
in the sky at midnight
and kiss with each
shooting stars

and the moon blesses
them with his
beams of light
for the world
the moon does not judge
but he loves the world
just as well as they love
each other

The Corn Maid

There once was a Mother and her son
they lived next to some red ants
in really small village
that was dusty
and green

The Mother and her son
had a farm that yielded
corn, beans, squash
and chiles

The ants also had a farm
that yielded the same plants
Really what do you expect
people without a local
Wal Mart to buy food
and Facebook to surf
and find out rumors
about the Gods

One summer
The Gods got bored with the small
villages and sent a drought
the stopped the rain from pouring
the ground being fertile
and plants from growing food
the plants instead turned brown and died

Now having no Wal Mart
most people either traded what
they saved
or starved to death

But the red ants that lived next to the Mother and her son
still had plenty of corn
each morning the had more corn the last

One day the Mother asked the ants
for help, for her and her son, were dying
of hunger

and the ants answered her woe by exclaiming
that they knew of a farm that had fertile corn stalks
that they got corn from everyday
they told her to send her son with them
and they’d lead him to the farm

On the following morning
when the it was the first light of the dawn
The Mother sent her son with the ants
to travel to the farm with corn

It took all day long and when they got there
to the farm
the son saw lots of corn stalks
but no farmer or any signs human life
but surely the ants knew better
than to still

The boy wandered off into the cornfield
and went about here and about there
and found red brick house

After seeing the house the boy
went back to the ants and told them about
the house and asked them to stop stealing the corn

The ants were stubborn and kept one
with their criminality
the boy started to attack them
and they being red ants started to bite him
and from that day on red ants bite people when
they’re angry

The boy had never been bitten
and screamed in pain
and the scream brought
the Goddess of the red brick house
out to inspect what was happening

At the sight of the Goddess the ants left the corn and
headed back to their anthill next to The Mother

The boy explained to The Goddess what had happened
and about the drought, starving people, and the ants.

The Goddess took pity on the boy
and she took him into her red brick house
and introduced him to her daughters
one was dressed in red, one in green, and the third one in white
The Goddess asked him to take one as a bride
and promised him that his family farm would never
ever suffer from drought
as long her daughter never worked
there would be plenty of corn on his farm

And so the boy stayed the night
and chose the third sister in white
and when the sun rose
the two young boy and maid
walked home with a basket of corn

Within weeks from the arrival of the
Son to his Mother’s house
their corn stalks grew nonstop
giving up so much corn
that Mother and Son
worked all day long
from sunrise to moon fall

While the white bride
never lifted a finger
around the house
she did not cook
she did not wash clothe
she did not sweep the dust
around the house
and least of all
she did not harvest the corn

The mother was aching all over her bones
her back was sore
and feet tired and worst of all
her hands were bruised and red

her son likewise
was tired
he never slept
and went from his house to
the town square to sale
off the corn

They had so much yellow
corn they became so rich
the could make tortillas
and chepos
tamales and toqueres
all with the corn dough
that only son and mother made

And meanwhile the ants next door
grew resentful
they steal and get punished for it
and he tells on them
gets a bride and lots of corn

The ants one fine morning talked to the Mother
and told her that her daughter in law was lazy
and a brat
and that she did not have to suffer
they told her to to make the bride
clean the house
dust the floor
to make some food and
to work in the fields

And for some time the ants
and the mother talked
and the same topic came up

It did not help
when the mother went around town
the people would bring up her daughter in law
and tell her to put her to work

those red ants only know how to spread rumors and steal

but ever since those days Mothers and Daughters in law
have been sworn enemies

The Mother tired of hearing complains about her daughter in law
made her work one fine summer day
while her son was out about town

The Wife ....the son’s bride
worked in the field
under the sun
and she did not stop till the moon and stars
covered the sky

When the Son came back to his wife
she showed him bleeding hands and
crying wife told him she would abandon
him and his mother
and the farm
and return back home
to her mother

And the next day the corn died
and there was no more them to eat
or bake into food

That is what happens
when your best friends are red ants
never listen to them...they only know how
to make your life hell
